Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, with a score of 74.5 against 74.5. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot older than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, it's design is way lighter and somewhat thinner. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a way higher pixel number per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. They have a 3 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a better storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 400 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity against 4900mAh.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both have the same (Full HD) video definition, a same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
