Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), getting a 67.9 score against 60.4. These devices have Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 body is thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it's much heavier and was released about 18 months before.
