Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 62.2 score against 60.4. Although the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) were released only a few months apart, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 construction is way thinner but a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016).

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a higher number of pixels per display inch, a bit bigger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, although it has a camera with lot less megapixels and a way lower (HD) video resolution. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD extension slot that allows 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a superior battery life than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
