Comparison review

The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), having a general score of 61.5 against 60.4. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad M1 has an older 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Even though the Huawei MediaPad M1 is way older and heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's design is still a little thinner.

Huawei MediaPad M1 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a just a bit worse screen density, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a bit larger screen. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have exactly the same 8 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 200 GB.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has 512 MB less RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processor. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both have the same 1280x720 video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back-facing camera.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 has greater battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Huawei MediaPad M1 costs a bit more than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
