The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 60.4 score against 60.4. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has an older 4.3 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 body is just a little bit thinner but heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016).

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a little bigger screen.

If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
