Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 score. Microsoft Surface 3's body has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it is incredibly heavier. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a way bigger screen and a much higher 1920 x 1280 resolution. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) shoots slightly better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a back facing camera with a way worse resolution and a much worse (HD) video resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.
