The Microsoft Surface Go is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), getting a 66.5 score against 60.4. Microsoft Surface Go's construction is extremely newer and just a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s, but it's much heavier. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with Windows 10 OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) works with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Microsoft Surface Go and Galaxy Tab A (2016) both count with incredibly similar screens, and although the Microsoft Surface Go has a much larger display and a much better resolution of 1800 x 1200px, they both have the same number of pixels in each inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

Microsoft Surface Go has a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Go. Galaxy Tab A (2016) shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a camera in the back with a way worse 5 mega-pixels resolution and a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Go, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), resigning a couple features and specs.
