Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 overall score. The Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab A (2016) comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Despite being the best in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also notably older, much heavier and a lot thicker.

Microsoft Surface Pro features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has lesser cpu cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor and more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a quite worse pixel count in each display inch, it also counts with a much larger display and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has better video frame rate and a back camera with way more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab A (2016), resigning a couple features and specs.
