The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much higher resolution of 1824 x 2736px, a way larger screen and a little higher pixel number in each inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a very superior processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster). The Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 5 MP resolution and a way worse 1280x720 (HD) video resolution.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
