Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s score of 60.4. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, while Galaxy Tab A (2016) works with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Despite being the best device in our current comparison, the Samsung Ativ Tab is a noticeably older, just a little bit thicker and extremely heavier device than Galaxy Tab A (2016).
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has lesser processing cores , it also counts with more RAM and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a much better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits 136 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up some specifications.
