Galaxy Note 10.1 has an overall score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 global score. Although it's the best in this review, Galaxy Note 10.1 is an a lot older, noticeably heavier and just a little bit thicker device than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has an older 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also counts with a better display density. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 168 GB smaller, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same (HD) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 75 percent more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go a couple specifications.
