Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a general score of 60.7 against 60.4. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an older 4.1 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a much older, thicker and heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab A (2016).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a little bit inferior number of pixels per inch of screen, they both have a display of the same size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 168 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a way better 5 MP resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a battery life that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab A (2016) one.
