Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 score. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 construction is just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it is way heavier and was released 2 years before.
