Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 65.6 score against 60.4. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's construction is a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it is a little thicker and was released many years before.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Both of them have a 1,5 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a better display than Galaxy Tab A (2016). Both of them have a higher amount of pixels per display inch, exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a same size screen.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a quite bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 200 GB. Galaxy Tab A (2016) and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 count with extremely similar batteries duration.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a lot lower resolution back-facing camera and a lower 1280x720 video resolution.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a little more than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
