Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), getting a 70 score against 60.4. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop, so it provides you lots of additional features. Galaxy Tab Active 2's body is newer than the Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s, but it's thicker and heavier.
The Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 16 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 4450mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
