Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a general score of 74.6, which is way better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s general score of 60.4. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it is heavier and was released 2 years before.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a way bigger screen and a better screen pixel density. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a larger amount of RAM and an extra graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 106 percent more battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a camera with a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution and a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go some specifications.
