The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a general score of 69.8, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 score. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has the older 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Even though the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is incredibly older and incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's body is still much thinner.
Xperia Z2 Tablet has a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra GPU. The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much bigger screen, a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each screen inch and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has an external memory card slot that holds 136 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a little bit better camera than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a lot lower video resolution and a much less megapixels back-facing camera.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia Z2 Tablet is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
