Comparison review
Xiaomi MiPad has a global score of 64.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s overall score of 60.4. Even though Xiaomi MiPad is older and much heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's design is still just a bit thinner. The Xiaomi MiPad has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, a little bit larger display and a greater pixel density.
The Xiaomi MiPad has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xiaomi MiPad also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi MiPad captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a way better (Full HD) video resolution and a way better 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Xiaomi MiPad has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD card slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi MiPad has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 6700mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi MiPad, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up a couple specifications.
