Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is slightly better than the Xiaomi pad 5, having a general score of 60.4 against 57.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is an a lot older and extremely thicker device than Xiaomi pad 5, but Samsung managed to make it way lighter anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12 version, providing lots of additional features and optimized performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a much smaller display, a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a bit worse number of pixels per inch of display. The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has lesser processing cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi pad 5 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much higher video resolution and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Xiaomi pad 5 has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 8720mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
