Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a general score of 62.8, which is just a bit better than Acer Predator 8's global score of 57.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a somewhat lighter and thinner device than the Acer Predator 8, even when both were released only a few months apart. These tablets have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 7.1 Nougat version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

Acer Predator 8 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Acer Predator 8 also has 512 MB more RAM. The Acer Predator 8 counts with a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way better pixel density.

Acer Predator 8's camera is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, both of them have a 5 megapixels back camera. Acer Predator 8 features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Acer Predator 8 also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 not only is the best tablets of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
