Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
