Apple iPad (2020) is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, having a global score of 66.6 against 62.8. Apple iPad (2020) is a much newer tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it is much heavier and just a little thicker. Apple iPad (2020) features a much better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Apple iPad (2020) also has a 64-bits processor.
The iPad (2020) has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way higher resolution of 1620 x 2160px, a larger display and a way higher count of pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a greater storage capacity for apps and games than iPad (2020), because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
IPad (2020) captures a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way better (Full HD) video quality and a back camera with way more mega pixels. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a way better battery duration than iPad (2020).
Although Apple iPad (2020) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Apple iPad (2020), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
