Comparison review

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a 70.8 score against 62.8. These tablets use Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has an older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although Google Nexus 7 (2013) is older and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, it's body is still a little bit lighter.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has an additional GPU and 512 MB more RAM. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a way higher display pixels density.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features just a little better battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a way higher 1920x1080 video quality.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
