Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Google Nexus 9 has the older 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Even being the best in this comparison review, Google Nexus 9's design is a little bit thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.
Google Nexus 9 features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a bit larger screen, way more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a better memory capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB.
The Google Nexus 9 has a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and more RAM memory. Google Nexus 9 shoots greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a lot better video definition.
