The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a global score of 62.8, which is slightly better than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3's 61.1 global score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a notably older and incredibly thicker portable tablet than the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, but Samsung was able to make it way lighter anyway. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has Android 14 version.

Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 features an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot better 1920 x 3000 pixels resolution, a much greater number of pixels per inch of screen and a lot bigger display. The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features an extremely better processing unit than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 139% more battery capacity.
