Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, so it provides you a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 body is newer, a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Huawei MediaPad M1.
