Comparison review

The Huawei MediaPad M2 has an overall score of 65.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 general score. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M2 has the previous 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although it's the best in this comparison, the Huawei MediaPad M2 body is a bit thicker and a little heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

Huawei MediaPad M2 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a lot higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP and a way better (Full HD) video resolution. Huawei MediaPad M2 has much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has more internal memory capacity.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
