The LG G Pad X II 10.1 has a score of 65.4, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 score. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad X II 10.1 has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. LG G Pad X II 10.1 is a newer tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but it's just a little thicker and extremely heavier.

LG G Pad X II 10.1 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a larger screen, a better screen density and a way higher 1920 x 1200 resolution. LG G Pad X II 10.1 features a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad X II 10.1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G Pad X II 10.1 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 4 more processing cores and 512 MB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and the LG G Pad X II 10.1 have really similar cameras, and although the LG G Pad X II 10.1 has a much higher video definition, they both have a same resolution back-facing camera.

The LG G Pad X II 10.1 has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 43 percent larger battery size.
