Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's 58.7 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, while Microsoft Surface 9 Pro has Windows operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's body is incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a much better performing processing unit than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with more processing cores. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot higher 1920 x 2880px resolution, a lot larger display and a lot higher display pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Microsoft Surface 9 Pro features a camera that's very similar to Galaxy Tab A 8.0's camera, although the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro also has a way more MP back-facing camera.
