Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a 72.2 score against 62.8. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is an older, thicker and extremely heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2160, a higher pixels density and a way larger display. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has 2 less cores , it also counts with 6,5 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
