The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is a little bit better than the OnePlus Pad 2's score of 58.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a much older and thicker device than OnePlus Pad 2, but Samsung was able to build it way lighter anyway. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while OnePlus Pad 2 has Android 14 version, providing the user a lot of extra features.
OnePlus Pad 2 features a lot better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way larger screen, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a much better 2120 x 3000 resolution. OnePlus Pad 2 counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a lot better hardware performance than OnePlus Pad 2, although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and less RAM memory. The OnePlus Pad 2 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 9510mAh of battery capacity.
OnePlus Pad 2 captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way better video quality and a camera with a way better 13 mega pixels resolution.
