GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is a lot better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 general score. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s design is older, noticeably heavier and just a little thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has an extra graphics co-processor and 1,5 GB more RAM memory. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, a bigger display and a lot greater pixel count per screen inch.
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much better video quality and a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
