Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a 66.3 score against 62.8. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 has 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Despite being the best portable tablet in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also an extremely older, thicker and notably heavier portable tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little bit worse screen density, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly better 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a superior camera than Galaxy Note 10.1. They have a 5 mega pixels back camera, the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a much greater storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
