Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, having a 62.8 score against 62.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a somewhat thinner and much lighter tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1, so it counts with a lot of extra features and better performance.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little worse display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a bigger screen. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more RAM and 2 more CPU cores.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a back facing camera with a much better 5 MP resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 6800mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also by far the cheapest, making it an easy decision.
