Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a 63.5 score against 62.8. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's body is just a little bit thicker and a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number in each display inch and a little higher 800 x 1280px resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a much more MP back facing camera.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, letting go some specs and features.
