The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 overall score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but it's much lighter. These devices use the same Android 7.1 Nougat OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a processing unit that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, both have the same number of cores and a 1,5 GB RAM.
