Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab E, having a overall score of 62.8 against 60.7. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab E were only released 2 months apart, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 7.1 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 version, giving some additional features.

Galaxy Tab E features a display that is very similar to Galaxy Tab A 8.0's screen, because although the Galaxy Tab E has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a bigger display and a little higher resolution of 800 x 1280px. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both have 1,5 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E features longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 19% more battery size.

The Galaxy Tab E features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of them have the same 1280x720 video resolution, a back-facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels and the same video frame rates.
