The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a general score of 64.9, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 score. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 construction is newer than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0's, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a processor that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, both of them have the same number of cores and a 1,5 GB RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a little bit greater pixel amount per screen inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of them have a back camera with a 5 megapixels, the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab E 8.0 count with incredibly similar storage to install applications and games, both of them have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and exactly the same 16 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.
