Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, having a 74.6 score against 62.8. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's body has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but it is extremely heavier.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a way better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way greater pixel number per inch of display, a bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with more storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a greater amount of RAM and a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, resigning some specifications.
