The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, having a global score of 73.3 against 62.8. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 construction is thinner and just a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, despite of the fact that it was released around 11 months before.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, a lot greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a quite bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has as much storage for applications and games as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, both have exactly the same internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 17% larger battery size. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a much higher resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 costs a bit more money than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
