Comparison review

The Galaxy View 2 has a score of 65.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 general score. Galaxy View 2's body is notably newer, but way heavier and incredibly thicker than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy View 2 has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat, counting with a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.

The Galaxy View 2 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot worse 768 x 1024 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 48 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy View 2 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 12000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy View 2.

Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, giving up some specifications.
