The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a global score of 62.8, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 general score. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also a lot lighter and noticeably thinner than Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, giving a couple additional features and a performance increase.
