Comparison review
Xiaomi MiPad has a general score of 64.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 global score. Despite being the best in this review, Xiaomi MiPad is an older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker device than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi MiPad also has 512 MB more RAM.
Xiaomi MiPad has a way better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and way more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi MiPad captures greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a lot higher 8 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi MiPad's memory capacity for applications and games is very similar to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, both of them have an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB and the same 16 GB internal memory. Xiaomi MiPad has a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
