Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a general score of 65.7, which is better than Acer Predator 8's 57.7 general score. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is newer than the Acer Predator 8, it's a bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both tablets we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Acer Predator 8 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a same size display, the Acer Predator 8 also has a higher count of pixels per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920. The Acer Predator 8 features a slightly better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
