Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than Alcatel JOY TAB, with a 65.7 score against 59.4. These tablets come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the same OS features. Even being the best tablet device we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s construction is older, heavier and just a little bit thicker than Alcatel JOY TAB.

The Alcatel JOY TAB has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). They have a Quad-Core processing unit and 2 GB of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) and Alcatel JOY TAB count with incredibly similar displays, both have a display with the same size, a higher pixel count in each screen inch and exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution.

Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a little bit better memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features superior battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a way better camera than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
