IPad 9.7-inch (2018) is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), having a score of 77 against 65.7. Although the iPad 9.7-inch (2018) and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) were only released with a couple months difference, the iPad 9.7-inch (2018) construction is thinner but incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017).
Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) features a brighter display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity.
IPad 9.7-inch (2018) features a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Both of them have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM memory.
