Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is slightly better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's global score of 61.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is noticeably newer than Asus MeMO Pad 8, it's thicker and somewhat heavier. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a lot better 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen.
