The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a general score of 65.7, which is better than Blackview Tab 12's global score of 59.4. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version and Blackview Tab 12 has Android 11 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a noticeably older and thicker tablet than the Blackview Tab 12, but Samsung made it somewhat lighter anyway.

The Blackview Tab 12 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a larger display. The Blackview Tab 12 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more CPU cores.

Blackview Tab 12 has a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a lot better camera than Blackview Tab 12, although it has a lot worse resolution back facing camera and a lower 1920x1080 video definition.
