Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is better than the Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi, with a 65.7 score against 58.7. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi has Android 12 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is an much older portable tablet than the Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi, but Samsung managed to build it extremely lighter and thinner.
Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi also has more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a slightly better looking screen than Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also counts with a greater pixel count per inch of screen.
The Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage. Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 32% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a greater camera than Blackview Tab 8 Wi-Fi, although it has a lot lower resolution camera.
