The Google Nexus 9 is better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), having a 74.5 score against 65.7. The Google Nexus 9 is an extremely older and heavier device than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), but Google was able to build it somewhat thinner anyway. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Google Nexus 9 has 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Google Nexus 9 counts with a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has lesser CPU cores , and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Google Nexus 9 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot higher 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and a lot better screen pixels density.

The Google Nexus 9 has improved battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 6700mAh battery capacity.
